**IMPORTANT NOTICE – PLEASE READ**Effective immediately The Detection Network will be discontinuing our marketing and sales involvement as a Sub-Distributor with DrugWipe. On September 30, 2010, Securetec ceased soliciting business in the U.S. Market. Effective October 31, 2010, full authority concerning the marketing, sales, distribution and reliance of Securetec’s products in all U.S. territories were transferred to Affiniton. Affiniton is being run by Securetec’s former U.S. Sales Director, Sherry Bender-Lassiter, formally known as Sherry Diehl, and possesses the exact same physical address where Securetec U.S. was located. |

Prior to this recent unexpected change, there were two Florida Distributors. Northern Florida was covered by John Consoli, of Onsite Mobile Fingerprinting and Drug Testing. Southern Florida was covered by Eladio Paez, of Precision Protective Research, Inc. The Detection Network was the sub-distributor for both of these distributors. The Detection Network’s marketing plan, The Florida Tier Program, was modified and then approved by Sherry Diehl. Both Securetec-approved Florida Distributors agreed to this plan. Florida was on its way to market DrugWipe to professionals, in a professional manner. |
| In September 2008, Victor Ortino, Virginia Ortino and David Rich traveled to Spring Hill, FL where Sherry Diehl and Florida’s Northern DrugWipe Distributor John Consoli, personally trained us as DrugWipe Instructors, authorizing us to train and certify Technicians in the use of DrugWipe. We next further developed Securetec’s meager training program into the robust four hour course many of you have taken.
In September 2010, two years after our being trained by Sherry Diehl, we were directed by Securetec to “Cease and Desist” our operations and remove our Certified Technicians list from The Detection Network’s website. In the interest of the expenses and work our established Certified Technicians & Dealers have put forth, we refused to remove the list. After discussions with Securetec AG’s legal counsel and CEO, we entered into a new agreement with Securetec regarding this issue. This agreement consisted of an expiration date for Certified Technicians training of one year from the date of the test. After supplying Sherry Diehl with volumes of documents verifying The Detection Network’s Certified Technicians have been properly trained, we received new certificates. These certificates from Securetec have been sent out to the Certified Technicians. We have recently been advised that John Consoli is no longer the Northern Florida DrugWipe Distributor. Eladio Paez is still Florida’s Southern Distributor. We have been in contact via email with the CEO of the new company, Affiniton, Sherry Diehl, and Ronn Lassiter, Affiniton’s new “distributor contact”. During these numerous email correspondences, we have identified many occasions of untruthfulness, questionable tactics, and total lack of recognition of the work that all of the Detection Networks’ Dealers and Technicians have undergone promoting & selling DrugWipe. Hence, The Detection Network has lost total trust with Sherry Diehl (now known as Sherry Bender-Lassiter) and can no longer be associated with her or her cause. There are 53 Certified Techicians throughout Florida that can be found on our website, www.detectionnetwork.com, that can assist you should you desire a drug test. We at The Detection Network have invested thousands upon thousands of dollars and man-hours in this project, and are not happy realizing that we now must walk away from such a major investment. We believe in the results and multiple benefits the DrugWipe test kits offer. However, with the lack of assistance from Securetec/Affiniton and lack of trust with its leadership in the USA, we cannot afford to invest any more time or money in this endeavor. We are glad to announce that Securetec’s rapid drug test DrugWipe® came off as a winner in various categories of the ESTHER comparative study in the framework of the DRUID (Driving Under the Influence of Drugs, alcohol, and medications) project. 36 institutions from 18 countries participate in the DRUID project initiated by the European Union. The project intention is to improve road safety and elaborate references for road site testing.
